<< admit it ... who (within the uk at least - didn't this get to # 1 in the
charts) has not been bobbing their head to mr. oizo's _flat beat_ ??? this
is so silly, but so "it -keeps-sticking-in-my-head" and the video is
hilareous (for those of you that have not seen this : a yellow handpuppet
behind a desk calling someone on the phone and putting the phone against the
speaker, meanwhile bobbing its head and fingers to the 4/4 beat ... and
there's a bit with a hairdryer too) !! >>
This is why I love the uk music scene...you'd never see something like this
hit number one here in the states...instead, it is likely to be some
bowel-wrenching tripe by the Backstreet Boys.
god save the queen! (not that *she* had anything do with it, but I still like
her better than Thatcher)
