OK, I heard a song on college radio this evening, during some techno mix, and would like an ID, if possible. It was a fairly upbeat track, sounding musically like a cross between FSOL's Dead Cities and dubnobass...-era Underworld. Vocals were pretty standard fare, very whispery, also sounding similar to Underworld. What seemed to be the chorus consisted of little more than "Baby Got An Atom Bomb", and most of the lyrics seemed to consist of "Baby Got... {something different each time}". The song is "ATOM BOMB" by Fluke. They have played the video for it a few times on AMP. The only album I am sure it is on is the Wipeout XL comp.

Hrrrmmm....I KNOW I bought this one..... Arg! AHAH!!!----It's Fluke! mmrrrrmmmm...I've got it on a 12"....errrr.....it's called.....uhhh. "Atom Bomb". 12" single out now. I havn't listened to it since I bought it, so you'll have to judge the tracks for yourself, but if memory serves, there are four mixes. | ----oO This is not a witty, clever, informative line... That trance mix is sooooo nice! Man, it just sends chills up my spine. Y'know, Fluke are the masters of making blissfull mellow trance...too bad they have to sing. :( khannan suntharam kxs28972@bayou.uh.edu

I agree wholeheartedly; soundbytes and random edits are much more interesting than planned lyrics (IMHO)

I like to watch Daria on MTV during its early afternoon run and recently they've started advertising their "10 Spot" shows. In the background, is some song which I can't identify but I wish I knew! It's not really IDM -- it was jazz -- but it was very electronic at the same time. It did sound kind of old, a lot like early fusion actually. I suspect it might be from Herbie Hancock's "Sextant"; mabye a short clip from "Rain Dance", which is on that album. I'd be glad if anyone could help as that song sounds really awesome! Jeremy

could be the original, or the jedi knights' track 'solina' which samples it in a more breakbeat setting.
