this 2s gap, can it easily be removed (i use Adaptec Easy CD Creator)? i know there was a thread about this a while ago but unfortunately i never saved any of those emails. /Reset Multicolor Level http://www.underjord.net

Some burners 'force' you into 2 second gaps.. (eg. panasonic/Matsushita 7502)) whether you want them or not..the newer burners have no such limitation, and software like adaptec toast (for Mac) will let you adjust the gaps with a little pull down menu right before you burn the Audio CD. ernie Ernesto Ikerd, (817) 763-4795 Company Graphics, Dept 17, MZ-1156 Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems Fort Worth, Texas

This little feature in Toast doesn't actually work. Picking a '0' sec gap still yields a small gap of a few frames/samples, noticable on a continous DJ type mix. You need Adaptec Jam (or equivalent) to burn a CD with many tracks but no gaps in bewteen... at least that's my experience...this was just a thread on the Cubase list (yes I'm on too many damn lists) peace Nate On Thu, 18 Feb 1999, Ernesto Ikerd wrote:
