Hey, look, I'm not from Southern California (I'm from southwestern Ohio, for Christ's sake), and I'm excited about Lexaunculpt. Yes, excited. It looks like we could have some real talent on our hands this side of all that water. After hearing the mp3 snippets from the web site, I am eagerly awaiting the Orange 12" (not to mention the bonus disk w/mp3s..cool idea), and hoping that he can live up to my initial impression (still haven't picked up that Isophlux 12"). Now, these are my questions: - Can any of you SoCal IDMers provide some sort of discographical information on Alex (up to and including his work as Lexaunculpt)? - Is that Kid606 remix on the site going to be made commercially available? It's fucking superb...for that matter, is there any Kid606 material commercially available? That's all for now. Thanks in advance for any info! === chris wicks cwicks@rocketmail.com http://drthunder.ml.org/~cwicks _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? catching up on email so forgive the lateness of this reply. By all means check out the kid606/lesser split cd. The kid606 tracks are quite good. They are a lot different (at least to my ears) to other things I have heard from him (don't sweat the technics etc..). The tracks are dark, dense, noisy and have a definite sense of development. Definitely for those who like experimental noisy idm. The lesser tracks are good as well. Different than the kid606 tracks but they compliment each other. Lots of digital manipulation (for both the kid and lesser). Plus the packaging is superb. If I remember correctly there are 6 to 8 kid606 tracks (don't have the cd in front of me, all packed away) -daniel
