Hey folks, long time lurker here. Just wondering if anyone's been playing with a Subpac S2, and how long you waited for it to ship. I actually wanted a Bassaware, but they stopped selling them a few days ago, just before I came into money... That said, the range of the bassaware is only 30-100hz vs the 5-120 that this'll do. The new version of the Bassaware seems neat though. It has a microphone on it, which picks up bass in your environment and enhances it just for you. I'm intrigued by the thought of walking around the city, amplifying the bass of cars, buses, or just some guy with a portable stereo that produces minimal bass, only to enhance it to club levels for you. So I'm now on preorder with the S2, but the wait is already unbearable and I wonder if anyone is going through the woes of not feeling their bass. Seems like this'll make working in the office way more awesome. I can't wait to feel the bass of my favourite Squarepusher, Amon Tobin, Bass Clef, Jaga Jazzist, Rena Jones and Kilowatts songs!
2015-03-28 09:24DimitrijI have the S1 and it is amazing. I bought it because musicians I trust use it. Be patient.

I have the S1 and it is amazing. I bought it because musicians I trust use it. Be patient. It is the real thing. I had a prof., expensive subwoofer-monitor before. And the S1 blows it away. It is like a 10k sub. Just buy it and be patient! The world doesn't know it yet really. It will go down in history. greetings deef 2015-03-28 3:14 GMT+01:00 Damien Fry <khoogyra@gmail.com>:

do you actually use it as a monitor? i remember trying one at DEMF a year or two ago and it definitely seemed cool for an immersive listening experience, but i couldn't imagine trusting it as a reference point...freq response seems anything but flat :) On Sat, Mar 28, 2015 at 5:24 AM Dimitrij <dekantierer@googlemail.com> wrote:
