Now that is a new one. ;P I think you're a little closer with the DopplerEffekt deduction. Everyone has failed to introduce yet another close electro ally, who also has a release or two on Warp, and has a little bit of a Kraftwerk/German fetish. Richard James WISHES he was Drexciya. I highly doubt UR would let an English white guy on the label. Not that I think it's a racist thing, but UR are very into the history and roots of techno, which is DEFINITELY Detroit, and black.

Yeah, there is an audible similarity with Electroids and Dopplereffekt. I don't know about the third Dopplereffekt. It sounds different and has a different (pseudo) artist credited. BTW has anyone heard the Electroids 12" on Sabotage? It's pretty wicked! There's also a Der Zyklus 12" on Gigolo with Rudolf Klorzeiger credited. That's pretty good too.
