What, you mean no one else found them? They're quite good, at my count, they're about the 12th & 13th ones in from the WHAM-O logo. One of them has to be BOC (it has that trademark 'Godzilla' sound), the other one's up for debate. I've been playing them for the last few months at gigs, people are always a bit confounded when they see you playing a frisbee, and are even more surprised when they realise it glows in the dark! -Våt. BTW- I saw about 15 on display at the Toys R Us in Paramus, NJ (corporate HQ, I believe). If anyone wants one, I'd be glad to pick one up for them. I'll only trade for rare Black Dog CD-R's, tho'. ____________________ Reckankreuzungsklankewerkzeuge PO BOX 382864. Cambridge, MA 02238 http://www.tiac.net/users/sheket/index.html

Okay, the amount of responses I got from people actually interested in buying said frisbee sort of justified the suspicion I had that no one on IDM actually READS the posts they're replying to (or understands my somewhat cryptic/self-gratifying banter). I also assumed that some of you had seen the Skam frisbee (it does not glow in the dark nor contain the Wham-O logo anywhere within it's design aesthetic). The lock grooves do not contain music, unless the trackmaster/ortofon damaging din amplified at a certain 2nd anniversary show for a certain Boston-based collective is deemed 'catchy'. BOC? Godzilla? Blue Oyster Cult? Anyone? I'm horribly, horribly old. And lonely. -Våt. BTW- I've got my money on Portman, sorry Kid. Ricci is fine and all & is turning out to be a rather saucy 99% hussy playing hollywood fixture (did anyone else see the short film version of 'Red Riding Hood' on IFC where she strips? I kid you not. Really naughty. Wolf is played by some post-Baryshnikov Russian ballet type, who feeds her the skin of her recently-stiff grandma), but Portman's going places. 'The Professional'? Anyone? Amazing stuff, a bit ethically challenging perhaps but so, so engrossing. Even if she never made another movie (which I kind of hoped after seeing 'Mars') she'd be a whole page in my sticker collection. Ricci's got one scratch n' sniff at best. ____________________ Reckankreuzungsklankewerkzeuge PO BOX 382864. Cambridge, MA 02238 http://www.tiac.net/users/sheket/index.html

And then I realized that if I'd already recorded sort-of tributes to Japanese models and now-grown-up former teen starlets, this idea was hardly a big hop, skip, or jump. (And, hey, I'll take inspiration wherever I find it.) Since it seems the original idea came from Kid606, maybe he can explain. I think the disc will be a compelling mix of different styles, and humor, and deadly seriousness. --Mark __ Burning Rome : SENSELESS CD on Mindfield Records MindCD03 Cathartium 14 > Distributed by Dutch East India Trading, Com Four, and Carrot Top < < http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome > < MP3 & RealAudio tracks >
