In response to all of this Autmun Leaves talk going around, I hate to be a wet blanket, and I really like idm, but if you really want to hear Autumn Leaves, try the John Coltrane or really good Bill Evans versions... Remember, jazz artists were the first ones to remix:) -Evoyove From idm-owner-evoyove=hotmail.com@hyperreal.org Wed Jan 13 11:04:18 1999

Hate to be wet blanket #2, but I don't think that remix is the proper term...what most of the great jazz artists did was "cover" the tunes - they reworked them, rearranged them, improvised on them, and made them completely their own. I would also like to second that Coltrane recommendation...fucking brilliant. === chris wicks cwicks@rocketmail.com http://drthunder.ml.org/~cwicks _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
