It's not "Yeah, whoo", it's "Whoo! Yeah!". Note the order - that's very important. Perhaps they put the 'Whoo' before the 'Yeah' in the US versions of the songs? Jeremy.

Since it's so important, I'll have to tell you that you're wrong. The oft-used sample, assuming we're talking about the same one, is from "Think (About It)" by Lyn Collins, produced and arranged by James Brown. The "Yeah!" comes halfway between the 2 and 3, and the "Whoo!" comes halfway between the 4 and following 1. "Think (About It)" is also the source of the breakbeat heard in a lot of old rave tunes like Quadrophonia, that T99 stuff, and scads of others. The one that goes 'bohm, CHA, di-di-di-CHA' with the rather shrill tambs. Also the source of "It takes two to make a thing go right, it takes two two to make it outta sight". Also just the tambs by themselves. -M. onNow: Thomas Fehlmann, Good Fridge: Flowing 9098. First impressions: very nice. Much like the Flow EP and Sun Electric, as expected. Slightly syrupy, or perhaps "lite", yet engaging from start to finish. Many thanks to EAR/Rational, yet another excellent IDM mail order company...
