Finally picked up this cd earlier this week. It's pretty good, Im especially liking the Gescom & Lego Feet tracks. I have a question though, there is a second track at the end of track13, and it doesnt sound much at all like Boards of Canada (which is the last song). What artist is this by? It starts off as a ambient piece that reminds me of Lifeforms-era FSOL, then the last 2 1/2 minutes goes into a bit of synth-popish craziness. .matt -- Mobius - http://www.fix.net/~mobius/

the first six minutes - the glitchy ambient sounds - is gescom, the Ae side project. then the two-minute track of cartoon sound effects and silliness is jega. right, righT? correct me please... * #### a disturbance in a system. #### laerm. @voicenet.com ##:# she beckoned to the sentry of his high religious mood she said, "i'll make a place between my legs, i'll show you solitude"

As my family was taking a trip into the local mountains here in Albuquerque (NM) I was playing a tape I had recorded Skampler on. When this track came on one of my uncles said he reconized those zany sound effects as being sounds that were taken from the Adam's Family. I'm not sure myself.. does anyone else know anything about this? Or was it the Munster's.. that cheap Adam's Family rip off.. I don't remember which exactly. -allen

What the hell you talkin' about, boy?? Perhaps the Munsters TV show debuted first, but The Addams Family existed as a gag cartoon in the New Yorker well before that. The characters were created by brilliant cartoonist Chas Addams, who wasn't happy about the television show. The two feature films made a few years back with Raul Julia and Angelica Houston brought back a lot of the spirit of the original cartoons, with several scenes being directly based on gags that Addams used. The currently running New Addams Family TV show, however, is absolutely horrendous and likely has poor ol' Chas rolling in his grave. Greg ObIDM - the new Suction stuff is the shit! something to make February worth looking forward to...
