as for copies/archives of this show:
Yes, the show was fucking dope as hell.
Yes, I did record the set.
No, I can't make you a copy because the set does not belong to me, it
belongs to Pole and the licensing parties involved therein. If I made
copies of it and the artist/label didn't approve, that would make it
increasingly difficult for me to get al these great live guests on my
show. A big part of why they come down is the reputation of the show, and
if I were to change that reputation to "hey, come down and have your music
bootlegged around the world" then I don't think things would go so well.
And no, unfortunately I don't see a static copy of the performance on the
net anytime soon. If somone wants to donate $5000 or $6000 to kuci so we
can buy a new dedicated RealAudio server and license, then we'd be happy
to put all our past live performances up (with the artist's and publishing
entities permission, of course).
However, once it hits the airwaves, I have no control over what happens.
If some enterprising individual were to record the live sets on my show
and trade them with people, I would have no way of stopping that.
