Heard the new Stereolab in my local store today. Sounded really good, didn't have enough money to buy it though, can anybody tell me how many copies were pressed as "limited" double-CDs? I'm not a big fan of their other material (to be honest I haven't heard much but the Ketchup album), but this I liked. Shouldn't say too much since I only browsed it once. Noone can say anything else but that Warp is playing it pretty safe these days though. No rabbit-in-a-hat-tricks anymore, no. Oh, and it's not got any DR design either. Looks pretty fantastic if I may say so. Peace out Franz new email: marino@ambientsoho.com - http://gargamel.com/frankie -- WHEN DOGMA ENTERS THE BRAIN, ALL INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITY CEASES. - Robert Anton Wilson

The limited aspect is not the fact that it's a double cd. It's the crappy card packaging (which doesn't hold the cd's in at all well) that's limited.

a large amount of the stuff on this release is from before 'Emporer Tomato Ketchup'. If you like Aluminum Tunes I would expect that you'd enjoy other 'Lab stuff.

I know this was brought up before but what the hell does Warp have to do with this release? "At last a Stereolab release on Warp! Duophonic are of course handling the release in the UK and Elektra in Japan and USA." (from warp-net.com) Does this mean that Warp are releasing it everywhere except Japan, UK, & USA? I wouldn't call that a Warp release.

It wouldn't be a DR design since it's a Duophonic release and they never have DR designs. Nick

If the price is a bother, it is coming out domestically on Drag City next week. Same packaging, etc,,only the price will be a few bucks cheaper. Also, if you are looking to expand your 'lab collection beyond emperor tomato ketchup, try "peng" on too pure UK. Phoenomenal shoegazing bliss! Franz Enmark wrote:
