Picked up this CD last week and love it. Best comparison would probably be FX Randomiz / Lithops / Mouse on Mars' digital audio trickery/fuckery with their tiny samples vs. Matmos (the way they *sound* on paper, not on record ---- that is, all the hype that Matmos failed to live up to, IMHO) vs. glimpses of so-called *Chicago-sound* (Tortoisey - Euphoney guitar lines, occasional ---very occasional --- vibes, but not too-smoothy-sleazy-jazzy, thus shifting the overall sound closer to "Highways Over Gardens"/ Pluramon territory). Can't recommend this enough. (The onle downside is its length --- 35 minutes). (This is my first post to the list after a year or so of lurking around, so I guess it would be beneficial for idmers if someone with more experience with reviews would second or dispute my opinion).
