hey, when did this comeout??? or did I totally miss the conversation? just picked it up today... grabbed it thinking it was the caustic window lp (didn't look that closely at it) heard the first couple of sides and got all giddy cause it was sooo damn good, and thought, hey, I don't recognize these CW tracks... I'm assuming its tom jenkinsons older stuff as alot of it sounds CW-esque, but I could be wrong... mad as hell distorto mayhem. q

Yes. Think Analogue Bubblebath 3.5. Tom wears his AFX influence on his sleeve. The cover gives the impression this was culled from ol 4-track recordings, and it's nowhere near as polished as his later works, so I'm pretty sure they're old tracks. Lots of fucked up acid. Nothing deep-feeling like Port Rhombus, but I find it a lot of fun. There's one track with this incredibly distorted sound which we've determined could be nothing else than the incredibly lame Whistle sound off the TR-727, tweaked _almost_ to the point of unrecognisability. It's probably the only cool thing that's ever been done with that sound. This is one album I'll never, EVER be able to play when my wife's in the car. Che
