Spaceland is in Silver Lake, on Glendale Blvd. As for the other stuff, we missed Shad tonight too! Trixie, my partner mike and I rolled down to the viper at 9:00 to find gonzi and his lovely girlfriend christine outside. Much to our dismay, shad had just finished up. They had him starting at 8:30! WTF?!?!?! I've been to atmosphere dozens of times and nothing ever starts before 10 pm, especially live acts (which there haven't been any, shad being the first)! When we got there, the worlds worst jump up dj, Carbo was on the decks. Why the fuck would they have shad play at 8:30 and then that moron playing records afterwards? Dj spooky didn't rate the 45 bucks that it would have cost to get my posse in, so we hung outside and talked to shad, fern, gonzi and christine for an hour or so then went and got lots of booze at a liquor store and got drunk. I'm a bit sad that I didn't get to go in and challenge spooky to the battle that he so graciously offered a while back. From what shad said, he wasn't even there yet. And to think that shad played to an empty room for free, forgoing pay for a guest list of 20 odd people. Fuck those morons at atmosphere. drunk as fuck, brock
