I would have to mention Glenn Gould's "Goldberg Variations" on CBS Masterworks. Which reminds me: for anyone interested in seeing the now-infamous National of Film Board of Canada style that is so admired by BoC, check out Francois Girard's "32 Short Films About Glenn Gould". One of the 32 vignettes is an animated sequence of balls that dance around geometrically and multiply several times -very, very NFB. Fr.Girard is the guy directed the new film "The Red Violin", which stars Samuel Jackson. "32 Short Films..." is an excellent flick, and it stars Colm Feore, one of the best actors that no one has ever heard of. check it out. rj.
