Hi, I asked a friend who frequents the R.S. offices about this U.N.K.L.E. refusal to wear clothes/walkout and here's the straight dope. -=- Josh Davis and James Lavelle actually AGREED to pose for a fashion spread in Rolling Stone - fashion articles in the magazine are different from actual music coverage, and UNKLE went into it with their eyes wide open. Lavelle even requested certain clothes to wear, and Davis had said that he would pick out some overcoat at the shoot to wear over his regular clothes. Apparently, Davis freaked out when he got there - I guess he hadn't really thought it through - and he walked out. Anyway, I would hate for people to get the impression that this was some rebel move on their part or that the magazine tried to trick them into wearing some clothes. I was honestly surprised to hear that they agreed to pose in the first place. -=- Techno Rebels they aint... Teep -- Aran M. Parillo IDM-owner aran@hyperreal.org
