Well, yeah, but the guy asked for classical records that would appeal to an IDMer, and you must admit, most of the Rite (and Petrouchka as well--those blissful pandiatonic washes that appear from time to time) could in some respects be called proto-minimal... so there's the connection. (I also forgot about his piece Agon, which is not so closely related, but is damn cool nonetheless.)
