Answering part of my own question...
The site <
http://www.demon.co.uk/medium-prod> contains information on the
label set up by Jansen/Barbieri/Karn for their own work and collaborations
and gives loads of info on the releases. It unfortunately doesn't seem to
have any audio samples so my other question remains: which of the releases
are any good?
