Some folks were asking about the latest Pressure of Speech album. It's called "Our Common Future, and here's the details: PRESSURE OF SPEECH - Our Common Future (North South, POS 200 CD) Tracks: 1. Backfed 2. Tippex Reality 3. 1st Hand 4. The Kelpie Domain 5. Uluru 6. Crow Road 7. Mothmath 8. Window Pain 9. Madam Moth 10.Emile TOTAL TIME: 62:23 I haven't heard any other POS album, but this one seems more experimental than I would expect (based on the track on TEX2). I have a couple CD copies of this; if you want one, they're $14 each, postpaid. Drop me a line if interested. -------------------------------------- | Bob Weisend | | rweisend@galaxy.calpoly.edu | | http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~rweisend | --------------------------------------

I have the vinyl version (POS 200 LP), according to which the whole name seems to be Our Common Past Our Common Future. It is missing tracks 8 and 10 of the cd. I haven't listened to this in a while, but at least the two first tracks had some Art of Noise/Richard H. Kirk-esque vocal sample manipulation/repetition that I always tend to find rather annoying. Those tracks are credited as Mann/Losey, the others are Mann except for The Kelpie Domain which is Mann/Giraudy. Maybe I'll get around to writing something reviewish in a while. -- Panama spy radar area 51 class struggle [The Empire never ended] Serbian FBI Peking Noriega supercomputer bomb BATF plutonium Noriega
