since when was freeform involved with these? i was under the impression that there would be two chocolate industries. one funkst?rung and one pbo with an autechre mix.
quoted 1 line Estermann on 33 ?!?! Check out 1st track on side where the tracknames>Estermann on 33 ?!?! Check out 1st track on side where the tracknames
are. Put it on >45, and you'll se that it's the right speed. err... which estermann are you listening to?? afaik it's:: mas1: 45; mas2: 45; mas3 33; mas4 45; mas5 45; mas6 33 you see the pattern?? if anyone has mas contacts and can get the exact speeds on these mutha's please let me know, i want to put some real audio up, but i don't know the speeds, plus it will put the list at rest once and for all. maybe i should try and contact them with (GAsP!) snail mail! ...and to further confuse things, the compost ep [comp031-1] is labeled at '33/45' ;-) and while i'm at it: does anyone (jeff?, lance?) have the the track titles for:: andre estermann: 'within sound' [axodya limited 004] thx, mult___santa_---_---___-_--- http://members.xoom.com/multsanta/mas/ [musik aus strom/funkst?rung] _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Within Sound (Andre Estermann) axodya limited 004 c beam harmonics nexus 6 squid clip sirius a This release, while not technically new, is another one of those links relevant for budding techno-anthropologists looking to track down all the evolutionary developments of their favorite Musik aus Stromsters. Five tracks of nice abstract electronic play, planted a little closer to the dance floor than the listening chair. 'c beam' has a grumbly, rumbly sawing bass, crisp percussion and a simple, vaporous synth chime glockenspiel that repeats throughout. What Autechre might sound like if Sean and Rob really wanted you to dance. 'harmonics' combines a muffled kick drum, syncopated melody pads and a bargain basket of bleeps into a pretty catchy, yet somewhat dated sounding end-product. When I first flipped the disc and dropped 'nexus 6' I thought I somehow had received a bern / detroit mis-press, as the B-side opens with a very UR-sounding strobo-beat. Very minimal electro, with spooky doppler-shift alarm horn sounds, weird electronic mosquitos buzzing in your ears, and the sounds of bank vaults being slammed closed on you in the distance. The second electro installment, 'squid clip' whines over bass heavy bumps and thumps while haunted house chimes spook yo' mind in the background. The highest point of the five tracks here for me is 'serius a', the closer. Rich with deliciously interleaved synthpop lines which were obviously precursors to 'plash' from MaS 6.04 , this track mixes a spot-on beat with lovely, brooding melodies soaring and looping throughout. YumYum. Worth seeking out, though this one may be somewhat hard to find.
