Hi all, While in my local record shop this week, I noticed the new Buckfunk 3000 2xLP "First Class Ticket To Telos" had come out. Gleefully I picked it up, pawing at the sleeve and slobbering all over the tracklisting. "Not many tracks" I thought. "Ah well, short album. As long as it's good who cares?" and began my walk to the counter. But then rationality hit me in the head - "There'll be lots more tracks on the CD..." it said in a dreamy voice, so I went over to the dreaded CD section to find out. Lo and behold, indeed it did have a great deal more tracks, so I broke them both over my knee and left the shop in disgust. Well, no actually, I just bought some more drum and bass instead (two tracks per release - now that's *real* value for money!) The reason for this story... - don't you hate it when that happens. The real reason for this story... - please please please someone dub me this album from CD in exchange for a dub of something lovely from my collection. please. Then I can buy the vinyl untroubled by the missing tracks. Thankyou for your attention in reading this totally self-serving post. gb. -- /TheW i http://www.homeusers.prestel.co.uk/lwtcdi/all/4-16.htm f o L D o dlr WTC "The Truth About 'Choose Your Own Adventure' Novels"

Buckfunk 3000 tracks (all those from the CD version of the new album) will be available for custom CD compilation at www.cductive.com within 2 weeks. Ditto on the Circadian Rhythms CD. -Tom

But I don't want it on CD, I want it on vinyl. Do you do custom dubplate compilation too? Didn't think so... In view of this, what I would like is for someone to swap me a cassette of the CD version so that I can see what I'm missing, then I can decide whether or not to purchase the vinyl. Yes, that's piracy - P-I-R-A-C-Y - but when labels put me between a rock and a hard place by stupid formatting then it makes care little for handing over my cash for a legitamate copy anyway. Labels who do this should bear in mind that they are alienating people who under normal circumstances would have bought their product on sight. Anyway, I think my mail made itself perfectly clear, and therefore in future I'd appreciate it if you didn't use my posts as a way of putting in a plug for your company, neato as I'm sure it is...
