btw everyone... i know my clock says 1997.... about 5 people have pointed this out this week! im very greatful and its nice to know people care... or perhaps its the annoying fact that my messages always sit at the top of your inbox.... whutever.. its a bad case of shareware expiry problems im afraid! so theres not much i can do! i imagine with the occurrence of the "love from beyond" party this last weekend in detroit that #4 is finally out (as 2 and 3 have been for a few months), as well as the cd compiling all the f.b. tracks ('cept the lock grooves of course!). there is also a "space invaders are smoking grass" remix 12 on i.t. indeeeeed, once I get my powerbook functioning again I can hip you to my show notes...and me and dan sicko have been pulling together a little picture show using his digital cammy and my fingers, url forthcoming. in the mean time. the final installment of "from beyond" is now rolling out to shops. it's spicy sweet heart shaped candy red vinyl (the shape is of course circular, the vinyl is colored like the candy) with mastering as delicious (one side has the 7" inside a 12" optical illusion) the music may represent the finest of the 4 part series with offerings from serotonin's selway, superstar dj shake,the amicable dj k1, and dum da dum dum's uni. press copies of IT8 (the CD comp) are out as well, send your credentials to bmg@monkey.org to skeez a copy. oh, yeah and the space invaders disco mix 12" is out too...this one is pressed on deeep dark humbolt green vinyl and it smokes, right. on the B side is the original (which was on from beyond vol 1) and an instrumental of "secret desire" from the forthcoming "Man from PACK" LP (I-f on IT). look for the dotted i's and crossed t's version of the full from beyond party review soon at a website near you... What other stuff is already out by I-f? I know of one ep, that seems as though it would be accompanied by another of the same series, called "Portrait of a Dead Girl II (the conclusion)" which is on Disko B (and incidentally is quite fine, though not in the league of 'Space Invaders...').
