I have that track on a 12" called: . Jeff Mills: Mix Up Vol. 2 Rereleases12" (Sony Music) But i believe that it is also available on the hard-to-find Axis 9b 12". I'm not sure if 9b is available anywhere but i think that the aforementioned Mix-Up Vol 2 sampler 12" is still gettible. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

Try www.submerge.com -- AX009 and AX009B were "unreleased", even though I bought AX009 at Gramaphone in Chicago (but got AX009B direct from Submerge). The 12"s could be gone by now, though. --Mark

The X-103 cd is a cool conceptual journey through the lost island of Atlantis. For the most part it's hard pounding Millsy techno with short ambient interludes. In parts it sounds a little ravey and dated but it's worth the domestic price for excellent tracks like Hagia Triada, Minnia (The Queen's Theme), 10 000 Chariots, Curse of Gods and the ambient Thera. If you liked X-101, X-102 or any of the three Waveform Transmissions lps then you'll like this one too. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

X-103 works as a cohesive album, moving from almost pastoral synth-string passages to distorted techno stompers that should make Alec Empire sweat. The bulk of the record, though, is unusual, tweaky, Detroit/Berlin techno that might well sound more fresh and modern than the current Tresor output. All the more impressive that X-103 was Tresor 12 from 1993. The whole record, as the title may suggest, has an "aquatic" sound. (From the sonic evidence, mainly from analogue synths and an old sampler.) Although the word "aquatic" may recall Drexciya, the X-103 disc demonstrates more skill, and doesn't have the cheese factor (as endearing as that is in Drexciya's music, and I don't mean to knock it). By the way, X-101 was Tresor 1. --Mark __ <http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome> < MPEG & RA audio clips > Forthcoming CD SENSELESS on Mindfield Records MINDCD03 Cathartium 14 m u s i c : w e b : s o u n d d e s i g n : h t m l : c g i : e t c "I'm a liberal guy too cool for the macho ache with a secret tooth for the cherry on the cake" -- Prefab Sprout, "Cruel"
