Dear All,
Is there a good site dedicated to Coldcut out there?
All I want is a discography and some info, perhaps
someone who knows more than me can put one up, not
because I want it but because these guys deserve it.
On another note:
I'm currently updating the Dot pages (sorry for the
extremely lazy updating, we've just been busy with
other things), and if anyone's got any articles,
reviews or anything from magazines, please email em
to me and I will add them to the "press" section.
New 4thcoming, backcat., reviews and possibly some
other things will be added. 1998 looks like a top
year for Dot. Like 1997.
First off:
o Quant remixing Coldcut on their "Timber" single.
o Dot artists on Freezone, Future Sound of Jazz,
The Nu Art and Ninjacuts compilations.
o The magificially unique "Endlessnessism"
compilation. 4x12" or 2xCD. It'll be wonderful.
Email if you're interested in getting a tracklist.
o The Knights Who Say Dot 2 compilation.
o Dot tours all over the globe.
o The Dot site will be reality w/ one of the
sharpest web-magazines around, The Dot Herald.
Watch out for that one!
o [in August] Dot'll release a tribute to the
swedish piano jazz-legend Jan Johansson. The
name of the compilation will be "Techno på
Svenska" which is a reference to Johansson's
record "Jazz på Svenska". Doomed to brilliance.
And signing out.
Fe.
