So, one is incredibly ignorant and narrow minded if one doesn't like -
Radiohead?
I wasn't aware that failing to follow the dictates of MTV and the music
industry constituted ignorance. I've heard Radiohead, and I am somewhat less
than impressed. Obviously I have been a fool to trust my own opinion of what I
like as has everyone on the list.
My favorite rock album of the year was Guided by Voices - Mag Earwhig!.
You're not ignorant and narrow minded if you prefer to listen to something
else. What a silly message you post to our list - please stop it.
As for this poll thing: One of my problems is that I probably won't get around
to purchasing my favorite releases from this year until next year, and then I
won't be able to vote for them. There are lots of great cds I purchased this
year that were released last year. I like them a lot better than some of my
favorites from this year, but I can't vote for them, how bothersome. Still
this year's poll might come in handy next year when I'm trying to figure out
which of the bewildering array of releases I might like to purchase.
While I'm posting- any opinions on the new release by Theorem on Plus 8 ? Is
it in the same vein as his full-length? (which I liked.) I couldn't find
anything on the Plus 8 web page.
