Yes, I was wondering that as well.....Personally I was quite pleased
when a new form of breakbeat came about that seemed to involve more
complex drum programming than the over-used bassdrum-snare-bassdrum-
snare rut that drum'n'bass got itself stuck in recently....and the
artists concerned actually *weren't* using the Amen break.....amazing!
Some of them even just used a drum-machine....and thank god for the
melodies too which drum'n'bass is also quite often lacking...
