I would qualify as biased as I used to work at Asphodel, but I'll
highly recommend 75 Arks path. For the debut Anti Pop Consortium
release, "Tragic Epilogue" alone, 75 Ark should cut it well.Though
its too early in the year for predictions, I'll bank this into indie
Hip Hop release of the year and would be suprised if anything touches
its depth. I could'nt think of a better. more original, yet true Hip
Hop album to come around in a long time.
Noisy, dark, dirty, real, honest, tight, funny, creative, heavy*heavy* shit.
If you find the vinyl 12" of "Lift" , the b side "Fuck Rap" should be
a good indoctrination to APS as well. This track, unfortunately, is
*not* on the full length and is their diamond.
As far as Tipsy's return, I dunno.

Folks from Asphodel and Studio K7 along with others have recently started
75Ark . . . seems mostly Turntablist in approach, so it's anyone's guess
about them having a new Tipsy release.
