Don't know if this was brought up yet here on IDM. But, Mikey P, Aphex, and Alex Patterson (Orb) pay their respects to Philip Glass and Steve Reich. It's worth checking out. If you flip to the last page look at the little q and a with Moby where he says: "The only difference between a Puff Daddy record and an Aphex Twin record is that Puff Daddy is better produced and has singing on it." hmm.....come to (Puff) daddy....

I'm pretty sure they got the string "Aphex Twin" confused with the string "Moby". There couldn't be a better analogy... they both take the best elements of previously done musical genres, and take them out to the dumpster for a rehash. Fortunately, I already "took out the trash" a few months ago when I unloaded nearly all my Moby CDs.
