If a human beat box does a recognizable beat, does he/she have to pay royalties? Just kidding. Mike P is playing an in-store performance at Mondo Kims on St. Marks place on Saturday at 4pm. This is good because then I don't have to go the Superlove superexpensive raver roundup just to see him. -CF

if this is during cmj time be wary of "in-store performances" i think it was a store called "strange" altho i can't remember for sure.....anyway they said aphex twin was supposed to dj there and never showed, but lo and behold there's about 50 ppl milling about a store the size of a bathroom....looking thru the bins, finding cd's they'd always wanted (hint) etc.....
