Well...I decided to take a chance on Sun Electric's "Present" the other day, and bloody hell I'm glad I did. This is really just as good as everyone has been saying on this list....one not to miss. The reason I say 'taking a chance' is because I bought Kitchen (one of their other albums) a little while ago, and found it slightly, er, well...boring(ish). There's about 3 good tracks on it... But big round of applause for this album, they've definitely produced something very nice here, I actually couldn't determine whether there actually were any bad tracks on the album, as far as I can tell there aren't. I'm debating about whether I want to travel from Rochester, NY to Cleveland Ohio for the upcoming Sun Electric/ Orb show. I saw the Orb's last tour and I don't like their new album as much as Orbvs Terrarvm. So I'm mostly interested in Sun Electric. What I need to know is if anyone has seen them and whether or not they think they are worth travelling a great distance to see. We're talkin' about an expensive train ticket and such. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. Oh, and if anyone knows how much the tickets are or where the show is ( specifically the area it's in) I'd appreciate it. B R E N D E N

Is Sun Electric going to hit any western states? P.S. Who was gushing over Global Comm's "The Way The Deep"? I haven't heard such a smelly piece of feces in a long time. Big disappointment in this camp.

Greetings from Cleveland, In reguards to the Orb date here in town, I don't believe sun electric is on the bill as well. From what I have been told they are traveling with two DJs and Josh Wink is suposed to be picking up some of the dates as well(go figure). If you want my opinion you should come down to check the of my dub/triphop project ZigZag. We'll be opening the show along with Evil Electrician. Why not relive the experience by purchasing their LIVE CD called 30.7.94. It is IMHO their best. Present, their most recent is very good too! I sure wished SE would come out to Cali, 0
