The knob-twiddler formerly known as Dave Monolith returns to WeMe under his MNLTH moniker for the long-overdue release of the Time EP, five tracks written around the time of his standout 2011 LP Welcome. Fans of Welcome and of Rephlex releases in general will already be familiar with the trademark analogue warmth of MNLTH’s work to date, but the real beauty of his output is in its arrangement, which displays a precision and subtlety matched only by the likes of electronic heavyweights RDJ and Mike Paradinas. Every track here features layer upon layer of melody and rhythm without ever feeling cluttered or overworked – this is truly one for the analogue connoisseurs out there. The digital release is an extended version with 11 tracks. some great tracks on here :) https://bleep.com/release/56724-mnlth-time -- _____________________________________________ Sent from my Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K _____________________________________________ noise I make: http://www.soundcloud.com/pushkin http://www.last.fm/music/Pushkin noise I like: http://www.last.fm/user/zombiefly sites I run: http://www.ctran.co.uk http://o-fu-online.net -------------------------------

also i take back my comment about him sounding 'exactly' like aphex he uses alot of the same gear and is sort of in the same vein but his stuff sounds a little more polished and commercial (not in a bad way!) than aphex -- its good stuff in fact if you somehow havent had enough afx yet dave might be a nice change Clint Anderson Systems Engineer On Fri, Feb 13, 2015 at 2:11 PM, Zombiefly <zombiefly@gmail.com> wrote:

Dave is the man. I wouldn't be surprised if grant sent some tracks to aphex pre release and that's why some of the tuss stuff has that flavor. This post has reminded me I need to keep a look out for some vinyl. On Friday, February 13, 2015, Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote:
