Speaking of underdeveloped music I recently had the good fortune of acquiring both Lackluster cdr's and while I enjoyed both I found the tracks on both cdr's to be rather underdeveloped in the simple/sparse sense of the word. Anyone else find this or is it just me? Still maybe that's its beauty as my girlfriend commented on how beautiful the music was. So Esa I look forward to hearing more of your new work, after Focus releases the tracks from the cdr's, and keep at it because you certainly have great potential! i have the habit of unfolding a track in the first 2 minutes. haven\'t really figured out how to do it so that it\'s a growing moving affair (sort of like origami) sadly i don\'t really have the skills to do that either. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I agree with John that the tracks are simple...but disagree that they are *under*developed. That would depend on what your notion of development is and what your notion of "song" is. Your tracks work just fine they way they are (imo) and it can certainly argued that the beauty of them is kept pristine by their simplicity. One man's development is another's busyness. Be what you are and go where YOU determine. I find your humility refreshing in an age of "rapper-like" braggadocio...especially when the hue and cry for copies of CDR 1 and CDR 2 stand in stark contrast to your own assessment of your skills. jeff esaruoho@dlc.fi wrote:
