Well, imho the whole rave thing is stupid and lame. Yeah, I think I'll go to a warehouse dressed in baggy, bright clothes wearing a funny hat and drop some Ecstasy and go around hugging people. that's real fun! (Yup, folks, intolerance is alive and well, even on a mailing list supposedly dedicated to discussing "intelligent" music.) Greg [cranky ex-goth, so watch your step, pally!] ObIDM: Unless something really amazing happens, I think Dot is already a shoe-in for Label of the Year in the Best of '97 poll. yes yes I guess I deserve that. I've also gotten a private msg from someone else saying the same exact thing. and hey.. my schoolmates go around hugging each other and they aren't ravers, so there! ;) however what I said about goth is the truth for all of them (except for the fangs and biting ppl) isn't it? I've seen many pictures from these people in school who are into the whole gothic scene.

not intolerance, I was just stating my opinion with the help of stereotypes :) i've got quite a few gothic friends, but I still think it's stupid.

This stuff (the 4 12"s) was amazing (suppose it still is =) I ordered the compilation cd, which is very likely sitting down @ the post office RIGHT NOW, but I happen to be argueing with the wife and she won't take me down there (ya, thats right, I don't drive...) I checked the DOT web site, still nothing... any idea whats next from these guys?
