********************************************************************* F U T U R E ----> Net -------> P A S T Dear Subscribers! Don't be surprised by the year in the header of the message. This is a message from the future. My name is Roman and I am a Phd student here in the Moscow State University at O.U.Time department of physics faculty. And it is 2031 April 11 here now. You all read fiction about time machine and time travellers. We are working now more seriously on these topics and, although it is still not possible to transmit a physical object through time period, the discovery made recently by a group of scientists let us a unique possibility to send an information to the past within the info-space (which you all called the Net). Moreover, thanks to the archives we can read your answers many years later. For 5 years it was not allowed to communicate with people on the Net in the past as it was believed that such contacts might cause irreversible processes in the Space. So, it took 3 years to create an AI protection system of the info-space. The system is called CEIF (Cause and Effect Impasse Filter) and it was tested carefully first in STC models and later in the real info-space. You have already read some messages sent from the future. That were the messages sent from the pHACEpHLANGE. We tried to make these messages the most attractive for you to answer. Now, when the tests proved the safety of such contacts, we can communicate with you more frequently and you may know what is the time we are talking to you from. And you of course will soon see a lot more of such messages. For a start I would like to find out your thoughts on electronic music future. Let you all do a forecast for the next 5 or 10 years. We are comparing now all kinds of forecasts and predictions to find out any possible similarities and rules. We consider the lists, devoted to progressive music (and as we know techno was so at that time), to be the most suitable place for such contacts, as their participants seem to be the most ``future friendly'' people. Goof luck! 2031.04.11 Your in the Future, Roman OUTREMER / AKA `Solar X' P.S.: Tip from the future - if you wish 40 years later to be able to send messages to the past, maintain your account (URL) till that time. ______________________________________________________________________ SoLaRxXrAlOsSoLaRxXrAlOsSoLaRxXrAlOsSoLaRxXrAlOsSoLaRxXrAlOsSoLaRx ArTtEkaRtTeKArTtEkaRtTeKArTtEkaRtTeKArTtEkaRtTeKArTtEkaRtTeKArTtEk

hmm The soviet union exists again in the future? hm..

nah, actually I've travelled to the future, it's a great place. RDJ is looked upon as a god, and the song Milkman is the anthem of a peacefully united world. Everyone sings it's lyrics with pride and joy "I would like some milk from the milkman's wife's tits." This keeps the world in perfect harmony. In fact, isn't it true that the Chinese nuclear threat was thwarted because of the Girl/Boy song?

Brilliant, I believe though that it was B12 who inspired this idea, in their album Time Tourist.

Actually, you're wrong there, see Richard hacked into the Hyperreal mail server and stole those messages, and added the pHACEpHLANGE name on them. You did not know this of course, it was a simple bug in your time-experiment, as you had no idea where this pHACEpHLANGE came from.

You are lying. You never provided proof that such contacts were safe, in fact one of them proved fatal to the survival of mankind when RDJ's godhood was questioned by a big flame on here telling him to "fuck off" (a 20th century term). Not only that, they tried to get Alan Parry, the manager of this list, to kick him off. Such contacts could have resulted in the destruction of the world. -- __ __\ \ Aurafix aka Hillie / PHD ^ DAMONES (aka Rare Guy) / /_\ \ http://www.clark.net/pub/buh/index.html \_____/ >> buh@clark.net >> < > .. >> .<>> >> > , m7= inducing mindwaves.. electronic techno muuusik controlled manually by a p h e x t wi n .. .. . . .
