my worst fears were confirmed when i read this article. the article made reference to a new techno act called t.d.f. which is actually eric clapton in disguise. now it all makes sense after getting a promo of this and wondering what the fuck were these people were thinking playing masturbatory guitar over low-quality electronic music. what's next. on a brighter note the new can remix album is a true delight. a couple remixes on here live up to the name of sacrilege, but there are a lot of pleasant surprises as well. i will try to post a more detailed review later today if time allows. i got two release dates for this thing too may 8th and may 20th. the press release mentions a vinyl release as well. i wouldn't be surprised if there was a whole remix campaign on 12" format as well with extra remixes/remixers on it. hell, they deserve it. david *+* on now: spoon (sonic youth mix) (one of the surprises) http://home.connectnet.com/lotus/

This article isn't worth the paper it's printed on. It's pretty obvious Robert Hilburn has NO idea what he's talking about. In an article about techno he mentions U2, Trent Reznor, David Bowie and Eric Clapton. What techno acts does he talk about? All together now: The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Oh and one mention of Rabbit on the Moon. AND THATS IT! hahaha. Pretty pathetic stuff. _____ / ,-,_) /,_) (/ RESH Live & Direct from the G-Spot, Orange County, California, USA http://www1.linkonline.net/fresh/fresh.htm
