What I can remember, all on Mute: Moss Side Story - like a film noir soundtrack Delusion - more towards Paris, Texas The Negro Inside Me All recommended - I haven't heard his newer stuff. adam

He started off in a group called Magazine. Don't have a discog for them, but they broke up in 1981. Then he worked with Pete Shelley for a while, and then joined the Bad Seeds (Nick Cave's group). He left that group in 1987, and has been solo ever since. His first solo album was 'Moss Side Story,' followed by 'Soul Murder,' 'The Negro Inside Me,' and 'A Prayer Mat of Flesh.' Aside from these, he's done soundtrack work on 'Delusion' (a road movie with Kyle Secor that I keep meaning to see) and 'Gas Food Lodging.' There's several Barry Adamson records, first and foremost among them being "Moss Side Story", the world's first (and only) Industrial Swamp Jazz album. One of the greatest albums ever. There's at least a couple of other albums and 12"s out there as well ... - Greg

he was also on the birthday party (nick cave's old punk band) for a bit when the original bassist was jailed for some reason in 81 or 82. kyle
