(Aphex Twin remix of Beck's 'Devil's Haircut' contained on CD2 of the
UK issue of Beck's 'The New Pollution' single. Released: yesterday,
and still available at 1pound 99 in all your fave megastores.)
A fairly 'repectful' remix from RDJ: he retains some of Beck's
lyrics and a sniff of the original's structure. That said tho' the
singing is sped up quite considerably, distorted and splashed over a
breakneck acidic breakbeat. This is all tempered with the trademark
incongrously mournful synth chords. One of the best of his recent
mixes I reckon and certainly the most accessible.
