Envane is a beautiful thing - noise in foreground, melody in background--or the reverse, depending on u'r hormones i guess-- The first track, 902 Quarter is my fave with distorted 'rap' almost vocal thing that seems to me to be intentionally humourous. I remember bits of it from when they played at vinyl last month. Gets more interesting the more you times you listen. not often that this happens.correct me if i'm wrong, but none of this material is on Chiastic. susan g)
