Here's something I've wondered for a while - What is that FAX label all about? How come all their CD's cost $22, have only 2 songs, and have the same people listed on them as musicians? Are they Epic IDM or something? What's on those mysterious, similarly designed disks anyway?

Not entirely. there's plenty of IDM related material released by FAX. This list doesn't talk about it unfortunately. Try anything from Pino and Wildjammin (as the name implies, their stuff jams!) The last Jet Chamber (#3) kicks the shit out of a lot of DnB that is released! The first Electro was straight up four on the floor, not Ambient. On that note, most of the early FAX releases were hardcore trance/techno. Look for the Oversize Pussy tracks that shit is serious ballsy techno, not ambient. I could go on, I just hope others realize there's something for everyone delivered by FAX not just ambient shnoozer tracks (which I love as well):-)

Most FAX CD's that have been released recently (say 6months, maybe a little more) can be found for the $13-15 range.
