Have I just been deleting the posts about Future Sound of Jazz Volume 3 or has no one been talking about it? If it's the latter, I'm disappointed in you spotters out there because there are quite a few unreleased tracks on it. It seems to have been released sometime in '96, but I haven't seen it until today, when I bought it on sight since there is an unreleased Mike Paradinas track (not u-ziq, Slazenger, or Moscheles, but _Mike Paradinas_) that is quite good! Someone let me know if I have been deleting too many posts! ARM/Ren It also has unreleased stuff by Metamatics and a handful of others I've not really heard of...

I thought it was ever-so-slightly samey in some areas, and a tad light sounding overall. I wanted the vinyl but got the CDs: could've been a mistake. But the Cool Blu cut mixes great with the talking computer bit on my Mac. DJ Dara and Move D really caught me. The RAC track, too. Other bits: Here in Portland, something's sprouted up at 88.7 on the FM dial -- playing IDM 24 hrs. a day. DJ Spooky/Ben Neill, etc. show upcoming March 1 to benefit the self-proclaimed "subterradiostation." Rockdiggin' tunes! ---------------
