Anyone go to Friday's Soundlab in NYC? I would have gone if it wasn't for the fact that I knew it would suck. I mean, it's like CyberSuds, only later. That, and it cost $15! Was it the yuppie-fest I feared it would be? -CF

To some degree. But in all actually, it was a very diverse crowd and I really didn't mind it. The thing that "sucked" most about it, was lack of space. It was really crowded. Security was cool(not even a token body search). Music wasn't spectacular either, but there was lot to choose from. The upstairs Soundlab "Illbient masters" rooms really sucked. The silicon alley types really took to the jungle room, making it a no-go for me, although they were playing some nice dark jungle. The place didn't thin out until 4am(Gak?) by which time I had beat the crowds, but wasn't real interested in dancing at that point. Brian
