Sounds to me like a perfect opportunity to assure that if he gets into the lame stuff, it won't be from lack of exposure to the good stuff. For God's sake, hook the guy up! -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo)

I was cruisin' my local record shop lookin to pick up that new RDJ album (the one with that scene from "The Shining" on the cover ;) when I saw the following: Art of Noise : Fon Remixes - This one's got mixes from Graham Massey, LFO and others Art of Noise :Drum and Bass mixes Basically my question is this: what's the skinny on these two? Would I have to be a die-hard AoN fan to enjoy these releases or do they stand up on their own? Oh yeah, another thing...I saw an Atari Teenage Riot 12" called something like mind your own business or something and one of the tunes had a title about slaughtering ravers...If anyone knows what the hell I'm talking about, please gimme a review. It's cheap enough such that I'd get it if it had an iota of humor/entertainment value. khannan suntharam kxs28972@bayou.uh.edu

I think most die-hard AoN fans hate them, because they don't really have a lot to do with AoN (the FON mixes do include a bit more of the originals than the drum & bass ones, which might as well be all new tracks, with one or two exceptions). If you like the artists who did the remixes, these albums are worth checking out.
