Placed an order at my local shop today for a few exciting titles coming out this week (I'm doing this from memory so please excuse any misspellings)... • Profan compilation CD: A collection of unique music from Mike Ink's Profan label ranging from minimal techno (ala studio 1) to ambient experimentalism (ala Gas) to basic channelesque experiments. The tracks on this CD are culled from the first 14 releases on this prolific label. • Trelik compilation CD: A collection of minimal techno tracks from Peter Ford's excellent Trelik label. Includes tracks from Minimal Man and Tan-Ru amongst others. • Roupe - Elearchy CD: The much heralded Resource artist returns with a breathtaking black dogesque trip through uniquely challenging electronica. • Nitrogen 2xCD: Yet another beautiful release from work- aholic Richard Kirk's Alphatone label. This release continues Richard's desire to craft unique floor-friendly tracks. Does this man ever sleep? • Beaumont Hannant - Notions of Tonality, Vol 2: After numerous delays, this release finally sees the light of day and marks the return to his Taste Textures form of excellently warped mid tempo electronica. Good to see GPR finally releasing something again. • Metamatics 12": Clear releases yet another limited edition dj-friend electro ep. I believe this is the fourth in the series. But I have yet to be disappointed with a clear release. • Blue Arsed Fly 12": The third(?) release from the excellent collaboration of Christian Vogel & Neil Landstrum this time on Tresor. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous two 12"s on Ferox and Sativae and really look forward to this one. In-depth reviews by mid-week. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
