Found the _Platinum Breakz_ comp in one of the Used section as a promo for $15. Figured it was worth it. When I first listened to it I definitely wasn't going to pay $34 dollars for it. On second and third and fourth listening I do like it. Altough there are way too many Diva's on it. I'm a big fan of the Doc Scott material I've heard, but even he has slight divaness on one of his tracks("Psychosis") on here. Overall, not as good as the _Tech Steppin_ comp, but some tunes do compare. Highlights of the comp are: Photek - "Consciousness" Lemon D. - "This is Los Angeles" (Love this one) Doc Scott - "Fabio's Ghost" Lemon D. - "In My Life" minus Diva Dillinja - "Armoured D" Peshay - "The Nocturnal" Still can't figure out how Alex Reece made it on this. Well, supposedly this compilation wanted to show both the dark and the jazzier side of d'n'b. Maybe that's the reason why Reece's Pulp fiction was there. Why can't u figure out the reason?. It's a very good track; there's more to this kind of music than just the darker side... Greetings from Spain! Jose C.
