---No, the vocals should be crystal clear, it's unfortunately likely that
your pressing is defective.Strange though the syncronicty of your posting
as this track was the very first thing I put on this morning. I listened to
it about 5 times in a row, it's extremely passionate and addicting; I
eventually had to put it on a mixtape and send it off to a friend.

---I don't know about this particular single, why it's been so low-key but
the B-Side is from the acclaimed Smith & Mighty full length "Bass Is
Maternal". Also the label this came out on, More Rockers, doesn't have the
best distribution Stateside and they normally print in small quantities,
consider yourself lucky. Smith And Mighty have a mellow work ethic so
they're not always on-time with their releases or hyping the hell out of
them. They recently collaborated with producer The Angel to issue an
excellent drum n' bass single called Jaz Klash, a Jaz Klash album will be
out soon.

label Cup Of Tea.

---Recent titles to check on the "Same" vibe: anything by Mandalay,
Lacelles "Rock Oil" LP/CD (Orange Egg UK), Mighty Bop "Zen/Zazzie" 12"
(Yellow-FR).
Also I imagine a spate of postings once the Lamb and Sneaker Pimps albums
hit the US domestically. They are both two of the finest abstrakt beat
vocal projects since Portishead.
Peace. (connect@sirius.com)
