Nope.. The sample from Mashed Potatoes, and from Every Day, is from an old
60's LP called Children Talking, which, according to my mint condition sleeve
notes <grin>, is on the Music For Pleasure label. It's a collection of
interviews conducted by Mr. Harold Williamson, with schoolchildren around the
country, broadcast on a BBC Radio show of the same name, and I can tell you
there are *tons* more snippets that are CRYING OUT to be sampled..
..Just wait till you hear 'I got a slug on me lettuce, a wasp in me trifle,
and insects in me cabbage..'
Most recently, this LP was sampled by Jimpster, on the track 'Bad Hair
Blues', on Freerange records UK. Brilliant record, I recommend it.
