CJ Bolland's new album is fairly good. Technically it has a very
full-frequency sound, with warm lush washes of rhythm and melody that
really fill the room. At times the his breakbeat moments sound a little
too Chemical Brothers for comfort, and in all there's nothing
particularily new or inventive on the album. It's just done well.
Couldn't say anything about the John Beltran album...
On now: Goth Box (Cleopatra) :)
Lame Thread Prevention in Effect: Aaron Michelson
