In case our overseas friends aren't tuned in to the U.S. MTV Video Music Awards, here were the artists picked for Best Dance Music Video: (didn't catch all the titles...) - Coolio - La Bouche - George Michael - Everything But The Girl. This ought to give you a perspective on the state of dance music over here. I'm waiting to see which video I'll pick for best dance video later this evening on Amp. btw... if you can't figure out exactly what time the show will be on, you might try what I'm doing. Set your VCR for 12am-6am, and use SLP mode. At least you'll get the show, just not as good quality as SP. Anyways... some obIDM: Frankie Bones has a mix cd out on Sm:)e, called House Loop. 15 picks from the Loop and Plumphouse labels. Quite good stuff. I'd just like to know how much sampling/post production went into making this CD. Hopefully the Grammy Awards will be better (when are they?) with Frankie Knuckles now being on the Grammy Board. Otto
