This live/DAT thread seems to be one of the IDM perennials.
With reference to Kraftwerk, when I saw them in 1991 all 4 members were
present at their customised workstations with drum pads, numerous pedals
etc. I'm not sure that they ever played a gig remotely - wasn't that an
ideal of theirs rather than a reality?
Needless to add, they were quite good, although not loud enough.
